About Me

I have a Masters of Astronomy and Astrophysics from the Australian National University, and now work as a data scientist. I am passionate about Science Communication, and enjoy talking about astronomy with a wide range of audiences, as well as writing about astronomy for a range of audiences.

Science Communication and Writing

I love sharing my passion for and knowledge of science with people. Here I link some of my recorded talks and published work.

Scientific Experience

I am interested in star and planet formation, specifically how stars and planets are built and what happens in their environments. I have worked with simulations to model what happens as a star forms and evolves. My published research features the work of my Masters degree, using observations from the Keck telescope in Hawai'i to search for signs of planets around 2 young stars. In the past I have also worked on solar quakes.
